Job Description
PREDEEVO’s Audit Department is expanding, and we are seeking to recruit a capable, motivated and experienced Auditor to join our professional team in Larnaca.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of local and international clients. The position is suitable for an auditor with solid practical experience who is able to manage audit assignments independently, with support and guidance available from the Audit Manager and Audit Partner when required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, organise and execute audit engagements from commencement through to completion.
- Perform audits of local and international companies in accordance with International Standards on Auditing.
- Prepare and maintain complete and properly documented audit working-paper files.
- Perform substantive audit procedures, analytical reviews, reconciliations and tests of internal controls.
- Identify accounting, audit and internal-control issues and communicate findings to clients and senior team members.
- Prepare or review draft financial statements in accordance with IFRS requirements.
- Communicate directly with clients to obtain information, resolve queries and ensure the timely completion of engagements.
- Monitor the progress of assigned engagements and ensure that deadlines are met.
- Assist and guide junior members of the audit team, where appropriate.
- Report directly to the Audit Manager and Audit Partner.
- Remain informed of developments in auditing, financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
Skills and Experience
- University degree in Accounting, Finance or another relevant field.
- Minimum of two years’ practical audit experience.
- Ability to carry out audit engagements with limited supervision.
- Good knowledge of ISA's and IFRS's.
- Experience in preparing or reviewing financial statements.
- Qualified or Currently pursuing a professional qualification such as ACCA or ACA.
- Knowledge of Caseware will be considered an advantage.
- Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Professional attitude, strong communication skills and a positive personality.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
