Job Description

You should be able to understand and interpret clients’ accounts with accuracy and professionalism. A motivated mindset, combined with good communication skills, will enable you to contribute effectively to the audit team and support strong client relationships.

 

Responsibilities

• Support the Associate Director/Manager in delivering audit engagements in a timely manner, ensuring all documentation meets professional standards and audit risk is properly considered.
• Assist in communicating with clients, understanding their needs, and responding to queries where appropriate.
• Contribute to the preparation of audit working papers and financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with audit standards, accounting regulations, and internal procedures.
• Identify areas for improvement in audit processes and support the implementation of enhancements.
• Work collaboratively with team members and support junior staff when required.
• Commit to ongoing learning and professional development, keeping up to date with accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry developments.

 

Requirements

• Newly or partly ACA/ACCA qualified, or working towards a professional qualification.
• 1–3 years of audit-related work experience.
• Basic to solid understanding of audit procedures and relevant standards.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, reliable, and willing to learn.
• Willingness to attend face-to-face meetings at the firm’s offices or client premises when required, even if primarily working remotely.
