Job Description

A restaurant in Nicosia is looking for a motivated and friendly Bars Waiter/Waitress to join our team and grow with us.

Main Duties

• Taking guest orders and ensuring they are communicated accurately to the kitchen and bar
• Serving food and beverages
• Providing excellent service and attending to guests’ needs
• Handling payments and closing checks
• Preparing and cleaning the restaurant for opening and closing
• Maintaining clean and organized tables and service areas
• Organizing and supporting the smooth running of the shift
• Following the instructions of the supervisor
• Working as part of a team to achieve department objectives
• Maintaining the company’s service and quality standards
• Memorizing menu content and confidently explaining dishes and making recommendations to guests, including buffet theme nights

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar position will be considered a strong advantage
• Good knowledge of English
• Knowledge of Russian, Greek or Georgian will be considered an additional advantage
• Pleasant, friendly and polite personality
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Positive attitude and strong team spirit
• Ability to cooperate effectively with colleagues
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Strong customer-service mindset and a positive “can-do” attitude
• Willingness to learn, develop and contribute to the team
