Blue Orange - Accounts Assistant
Job Description
Blue Orange Property Management Services Ltd, is seeking to recruit an Accounts Assistant – part time to join a highly active and passionate team.
The successful candidate will perform various financial and accounting duties and provide general administrative assistance to the accounts department
Location: Pafos
Duties and responsibilities:
· Daily record key financial transactions using spreadsheets and automated accounting systems;
· Maintain proper accounting books and records;
· Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
· Prepare and send invoices, credit notes, and purchase orders
· Process receipts, sales invoices, and payments from customers and to suppliers
· Monitor accounts payable and following up on outstanding balances as required
· Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
· Perform bank and supplier reconciliations;
· Manage petty cash transactions
· Interact with visiting clients or deal with customers by phone and email
· Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
Necessary requirements:
· University Degree in accounting, business, finance or related field
· 2-3 years of relevant experience
· Effective Communications Skills
· MS Office and working knowledge of accounting software
· Excellent knowledge of the English and Greek language, written and oral
· Customer service orientation
· Initiative and attention to detail
· Organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
· Problem-solving and results orientated
· Team player
