Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Caretaker to join our team to work on one of our resort complexes. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work and takes pride in keeping communal areas safe, tidy and well maintained.

Key Responsibilities

·         Carrying out regular site checks and reporting maintenance or safety issues

·         Keeping entrances, pathways, communal spaces and refuse areas tidy

·         Carrying out minor repairs, including replacing bulbs, adjusting door hinges and closers, and touching up paintwork

·         Cleaning and maintaining the swimming pool, checking and balancing water chemicals, and recording readings

·         Assisting with gardening, including mowing, hedge trimming and weeding

·         Keeping external drains clear and checking for leaks or damage

·         Checking doors, gates, locks, fire doors and emergency lighting, and keeping fire exits clear

·         Monitoring maintenance supplies and reporting larger repairs to management

Requirements

·         Reliable, punctual and responsible

·         Practical approach with basic handyman and maintenance skills

·         Good attention to detail and awareness of safety

·         Able to work independently and organise daily tasks

·         Comfortable carrying out practical duties and working outdoors

·         Friendly and professional when dealing with residents and colleagues

·         Previous experience in caretaking, property maintenance or pool care would be an advantage
