CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a dedicated project management service provider specialized in the real estate, facilities management, and construction sectors, we are seeking to recruit a Certification Document and QA/QC Controller to provide services to one of their clients with operations in both Larnaca and Paphos, on an initial 1-year fixed-term contract. As a Certification Document and QA/QC Controller, you will provide dedicated control of the evidence used to support certification at both major facilities. You will own the document checklist and evidence index for every certification zone and system, controls submission and resubmission status, and maintain the audit trail of what has been submitted. Our client is seeking applicants who hold at least 5+ years of experience in document control or quality records on construction or MEP projects, including at least one handover, certification, or occupancy phase. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which will include onsite travel provisioning. This is an initial one year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of a longer-term arrangement in the future.
 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Maintain certification checklists and ensure all evidence is correctly indexed, traceable, approved, and current.
• Control documentation submissions, reviews, resubmissions, approvals, and audit trails for HOR and IE.
• Verify completeness of test records, NCR closures, statutory approvals, as-builts, O&M, training, and asset documentation.
• Track and report missing, overdue, superseded, and outstanding certification evidence.
• Review high-risk/high-volume documentation for completeness and traceability.
• Coordinate QA/QC documentation, ITPs, IRQs, TSTs, inspections, and test records.
• Track inspection/test status and identify missing prerequisites, delays, hold/witness points, and certification risks.
• Maintain certification registers and workload forecasts, supporting submission and close-out activities at both locations.
• Escalate material documentation, inspection, and certification issues to the Certification Coordinator/Planner and Technical Project Manager.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Diploma or degree in a construction, engineering, quality, or information-management discipline.
• At least five years’ experience in document control or quality records on construction or MEP projects, including at least one handover, certification, or occupancy phase.
• Experience with electronic document management systems (for example Aconex, Asite, Procore or SharePoint-based systems), revision and transmittal control, and indexing of evidence against criteria or specifications.
• Familiarity with ITPs, inspection requests, test records, NCR closure, and as-built / O&M deliverables.
• High accuracy in high-volume records and disciplined status control; advanced Excel.
• Professional working proficiency in English, with knowledge of Greek considered an advantage.
• Quality-management training or certification (ISO 9001 internal auditor or equivalent) will be considered a plus.
• Familiarity with dashboard tools (for example Power BI) and with the Cyprus statutory approval and permit documentation will be considered an advantage.
