Our client, a Company that operates in the Non Life field and offers all insurance products in the General Business is looking to recruit a Chief Financial Officer for its offices in Nicosia.
Responsibilities
Oversight of the Accounting Department to ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards, the regulatory framework, and internal risk management procedures
Oversee payment processes, ensuring the proper implementation of relevant policies and controls
Preparation and monitoring of cash flows, budgets, and forecasts
Preparation of financial statements, management reports, financial and statistical reports
Preparation of reports for supervisory and regulatory authorities
Preparation of Reinsurance accounting and claims reports
Support for the procedures of the Financial Management
Collaboration with external and internal auditors
Providing financial analysis and supporting management in business decision-making
Qualifications
University Degree in Finance and Accounting or any other equivalent
ACCA, ACA, or CPA certification, or any other equivalent qualification
3-5 years of relevant work experience required
Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills
Fluent in English and Greek
Excellent knowledge of accounting systems, MS Office & Internet applications
Experience in the insurance industry will be considered an additional advantage
Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements
Location
The position is based in Nicosia, Cyprus.
