Job Description

On behalf of our client, one of the largest construction companies in Cyprus, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Civil Engineer.

 

Τhe Company is licensed as an A – Class Contractor, allowing to handle projects of any size and complexity. Due to its size and structure, the Company can operate with flexibly to match the needs of its clients. It has been in the market for over 60 years and has built a reputation for quality, efficiency and reliability.

 

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join the team of the Company and take an active role in the design, coordination and technical support of the architectural projects. The role requires a strong technical background, the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and a practical understanding of the transition from design to construction

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the preparation and verification of measurements for new and ongoing projects.

Assist in the pricing, evaluation and documentation of variations, additional works and project changes.

Work closely with project managers and site teams to track progress, confirm executed works and gather backup for valuations.

Contribute to cost monitoring, budget reviews and commercial reporting to help maintain control over project performance.

Review drawings, specifications and site information to identify scope changes, omissions and commercial impacts.

Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and internal departments to resolve technical and commercial matters efficiently.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Civil engineering background with the ability and interest to work on quantity surveying and commercial aspects of projects.

Strong analytical and organisational skills, with confidence in reviewing drawings, measurements and project data.

Practical, team-oriented and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

2+ years of experience in construction projects; exposure to measurements, cost control or variations will be considered a strong advantage.

Good understanding of drawings, site execution and construction sequencing.

Strong Excel and reporting skills; willingness to develop further in QS and commercial management.
