Job Description

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and highly respected company operating in the Construction & Engineering field, we are seeking to recruit a Civil Engineer to join their growing team based in Pera Chorio, Nicosia. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing and supervising a variety of construction related projects, helping to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget. You should hold an academic background in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar, and any relevant work experience in a similar role will be considered an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided. Graduate level applicants are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of AutoCAD software is highly desirable, and fluency in both Greek & English is a must.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Supervision and organization of various engineering projects and daily works.
• Proactively promoting and ensuring Health & Safety measures are being followed.
• Troubleshooting technical issues.
• Preparation of reports and quotations.
• Coordination, management and organisation of construction sites, company workshops and contractors.
• Ordering of materials and monitoring stock control.
• Monitoring budgets and schedules.
• Preparing and executing payments.
• Any other relevant duties as required by the Company.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Holder of a Degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical) or a related field.
• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is desirable.
• Knowledge of MS Office, including Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
• Holder of a driver's license.
• Able to obtain a clear criminal record certificate.
