Job Profile:
Ararat – The Signature Collection is seeking a Cleaner who will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation of assigned areas within the property. The role ensures that all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and presentation, contributing to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
Job Description:
· Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors across assigned areas.
· Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
· Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and other surfaces.
· Empty and dispose of trash and recycling bins in accordance with company procedures.
· Clean windows, glass surfaces, and other visible areas to maintain high presentation standards.
· Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including kitchens, lounges, corridors, and other shared spaces.
· Restock restrooms and designated areas with supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
· Ensure adequate supply and proper handling of cleaning materials and consumables.
· Follow all safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
· Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the relevant supervisor promptly.
Person Specification:
· Physically able to perform cleaning duties, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
· Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and practices.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays depending on operational needs.
· Good English communication skills will be considered an advantage.
