CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established Corporate Services provider, offering clients a wide range of services including Legal & Tax advisory, International Tax Planning and Company Incorporations, we are seeking to recruit a Client Accountant join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Client Accountant, you will provide clients with a range of accounting and bookkeeping services, including the preparation and submission of VAT and VIES returns, assisting with the preparation of payroll and social insurance, the preparation of management accounts, and more! Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field, who possess 1+ years of professional experience ideally gained working for a professional services firm. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English are a must. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Preparation of bookkeeping and accounting records.
• Preparation and submission of VAT and VIES declarations.
• Assistance with the preparation of Payroll and Social Insurance.
• Preparation of management accounts and financial statements.
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assistance with tax matters and other administrative duties.
• Preparation and submission of tax declarations, including TD forms, GHS, and SDC calculations.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• An academic background in a relevant field is desirable.
• Holders of, or those working towards any relevant accounting qualification are encouraged to apply.
• Prior experience in Cyprus, preferably in an accounting, audit, fiduciary, or tax firm.
• Knowledge of local tax regulations is required.
• Experience working with accounting software.
• Knowledge of MS Office.
• Proficient knowledge of both Greek and English.
• Proactive, professional, client service orientated, with good organizational skills.
