Commercial Manager - Nicosia (on behalf of Deloitte client)
Job Description
THE COMPANY
On behalf of our client, a leading consumer goods distributor, we seek to recruit a motivated and results-driven professional for the position of Commercial Manager, to be based in Nicosia.
THE POSITION
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Company’s commercial strategy and operations, driving sales growth and managing relationships with suppliers in alignment with the overall business objectives.
More specifically, the successful candidate will be expected amongst other, to:
- Develop, implement and monitor the Company's commercial strategy aiming to increase market share and profitability
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the product range in alignment with consumer preferences, market trends and competitor activities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the best terms and conditions of collaboration
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with key accounts and suppliers aiming to maximize the Company's profitability
- Collaborate with other internal teams, such as marketing, supply chain and logistics teams, to ensure commercial alignment and successful product launches
- Analyze sales performance to help determine the product pricing strategy
- Monitor the performance (KPIs) of the entire product range of the Company, and implement corrective actions, where and if required
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and commercial reports with the approval of senior management
- Lead, motivate, and support the performance of various teams within the Commercial department.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards
REQUIREMENTS
- University Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing or any other related field
- Master’s Degree will be considered as an advantage
- At least three (3) years of experience in a similar position, within a reputable organisation operating in the FMCG sector
- Strong understanding of commercial strategies and business operations
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
- Excellent analytical skills, result orientation and attention to detail so as to identify and resolve issues promptly and effectively
- Experience in negotiating and managing supplier agreements
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages, both written and verbal
- Excellent computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office
REMUNERATION
