THE OPPORTUNITY

 We are seeking to recruit a Communications & Events Coordinator to join our team at our offices in Nicosia.

JOB DESCRIPTION

 You will work full-time as part of a team. Remote working is possible up to two days per week. As a Communications & Events Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing our social media presence, supporting the organisation of events and conferences, and contributing to the development and implementation of new projects and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate conferences, meetings, and internal and external events, including scheduling and agenda preparation.

• Manage, optimise, and oversee the organisation’s social media channels.

• Create, edit, and manage content for the organisation’s website and social media platforms.

• Assist with the planning and execution of marketing initiatives and special projects.

• Provide administrative and organisational support related to communications and events activities. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in Marketing, Communications, Business/Management or a related field.

• Relevant experience in a similar position.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.

• Strong administrative and organisational skills.

• Ability to multi-task in a busy and demanding work environment.

• Ability to meet deadlines effectively and to handle multiple priorities concurrently.

• Able to work independently to complete assigned tasks/projects.

• Proven characteristics and skills such as leadership, teamship and strong communication ability, is considered to be a plus.
