Job Description
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking to recruit a Communications & Events Coordinator to join our team at our offices in Nicosia.
JOB DESCRIPTION
You will work full-time as part of a team. Remote working is possible up to two days per week. As a Communications & Events Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing our social media presence, supporting the organisation of events and conferences, and contributing to the development and implementation of new projects and marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinate conferences, meetings, and internal and external events, including scheduling and agenda preparation.
Manage, optimise, and oversee the organisation’s social media channels.
Create, edit, and manage content for the organisation’s website and social media platforms.
Assist with the planning and execution of marketing initiatives and special projects.
Provide administrative and organisational support related to communications and events activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
University degree in Marketing, Communications, Business/Management or a related field.
Relevant experience in a similar position.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Ability to multi-task in a busy and demanding work environment.
Ability to meet deadlines effectively and to handle multiple priorities concurrently.
Able to work independently to complete assigned tasks/projects.
Proven characteristics and skills such as leadership, teamship and strong communication ability, is considered to be a plus.
