Job Description

Building on this strong foundation, our client is entering an exciting growth phase, expanding into escorting, detention management, and citizen services. This evolution positions them as a comprehensive solutions provider in immigration and justice, committed to innovation, integrity, and excellence.

 

Role Overview:

The Contract Manager will be responsible for negotiating, drafting, reviewing and advising on commercial agreements, working with a variety of partners and external organisations with information from a variety of sources. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of contracts within a growing international business.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Contract Drafting & Review

  • Draft, review, and advise on a range of commercial agreements, including:

    • Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)

    • Teaming agreements

    • Supplier/service agreements

    • Subcontracts with prime contractors

  • Ensure contracts align with applicable UK, Cypriot, and EU legal frameworks

  • Maintain consistency with the firm’s contractual standards and governance requirements

 

Negotiation Support

  • Support and, where required, lead contract negotiations with partners, suppliers, and prime contractors

  • Provide clear, commercially focused advice during negotiations

  • Identify key risk positions and propose mitigation strategies

 

Risk Management & Advisory

  • Analyse contractual risks and present them clearly to senior leadership

  • Develop practical, business-oriented recommendations to manage risk exposure

  • Support decision-making on contractual structures and commitments

 

Regulatory & Compliance

  • Ensure contracts reflect relevant EU procurement and regulatory considerations where applicable

  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments that may impact contractual arrangements

 

Corporate Structuring Support

  • Provide input on contractual implications of corporate and operational structuring

  • Advise on appropriate contracting models for international delivery (e.g. subsidiaries, partners, subcontractors)

 

Company Secretarial & Governance Support

  • Draft board minutes, resolutions, and supporting papers to a high standard

  • Support the preparation and circulation of board and governance documentation

  • Maintain accurate corporate records and documentation in line with Cypriot requirements

  • Assist with coordinating governance processes, including approvals and record-keeping

  • Ensure documentation reflects clear audit trails and decision-making rationale

 

Process Improvement

  • Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and guidance notes

  • Support continuous improvement of contract management and governance processes

 

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience in a contract management, legal, or commercial role

  • Strong working knowledge of English contract law

  • Familiarity with Cypriot legal frameworks

  • Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, particularly services agreements and subcontracts

  • Experience supporting or delivering company secretarial / governance functions (e.g. board minutes, resolutions)

  • Ability to clearly communicate legal and commercial risks in plain English

  • Strong organisational skills, with high attention to detail

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks.

  • Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to legal risk 

  • Discreet and trustworthy with sensitive governance information 

  • Able to operate independently in a small, international organisation 

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills 

  • Clear, concise communicator (written and verbal) 

Desirable

  • Understanding of EU regulations, particularly in public sector or government contracting contexts

  • Experience with cross-border or international corporate structures

  • Legal qualification (Cyprus, UK, or other EU jurisdiction) or equivalent experience

  • Experience working with government-funded or regulated programmes

  • Understanding of immigration, justice, or related industries

 

Education

Desirable

·       A degree in a relevant related subject

·       A legal qualification

 

Location: Flexible within Cyprus - travel to the Limassol office and other locations required
