Job Responsibilities
· Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menus, ensuring consistency and quality.
· Assist in food preparation and cooking tasks as directed by senior kitchen staff.
· Ensure food is prepared on time and in sufficient quantities for service.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas in compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
· Receive, label, and store kitchen supplies properly.
· Adapt recipes and portions based on dietary requirements or special requests.
· Follow food handling and storage procedures to prevent spoilage and contamination.
· Ensure all food items are labelled and stored according to HACCP and internal protocols.
· Report equipment malfunctions or hazards immediately to the Chef.
· Collaborate with service team members to ensure seamless service flow.
· Support kitchen setup, breakdown, and smooth service flow.
· Perform other duties as assigned by senior kitchen staff.
Requirements
· 1–3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably within a 4-star or 5-star hotel or resort setting.
· Excellent communication in English is essential. Fluency in Greek is a strong advantage.
· Understanding of food preparation, portioning, and kitchen safety.
· Proven ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
· Comfortable working collaboratively in a high-energy, team-focused environment.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
· Professional appearance and a positive, proactive attitude.
· Knowledge of portioning and kitchen best practices.
· Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
· Applicants must hold EU nationality without the need for a visa sponsor.
