Corporate / Fiduciary Administrator
The group: the group is an established international company operating in the Shipping/Maritime sector. Group has several offices and Cyprus office is responsible for accounting and backoffice function with a permanent team of 4 staff.
The successful candidate will work directly under top manager of the group and will take responsibility of a portfolio of Cyprus and international companies and support group structure in corporate administration, banking, compliance, accounting and legal matters. Currently there are around 30 entities in the structure (active and dormant) and this number will grow as business expands.
This is an opportunity to become right hand of the management in supporting business development and structuring of a growing group.
The Role:
- Incorporation and ongoing administration of entities across a range of jurisdictions globally (current portfolio has more than 30 companies).
- Maintaining accurate corporate records and internal systems.
- Liaising with local service providers (fiduciary, lawyers, accounting firms) in order to ensure meeting statutory deadlines.
- Preparing board and shareholder resolutions and other corporate documents.
- Coordinating share transfers, changes of officers, changes in share capital and other corporate actions.
- Liaising with the Registrar of Companies, notaries, lawyers, local fiduciary providers, service providers, immigration and other lawyers. Maintain relationships with current agents across various jurisdictions as well as explore new locations and find new contacts as the group expands.
- KYC with various agents, banks, brokers, etc
- Assist with evaluating new regions by sending quotations to new fiduciary providers, collecting information about administrative matters in new jurisdictions.
- Organise and coordinate setup of new offices including choosing a local fiduciary provider, registering local entity, prepare documentation for local bank account opening, deal with local rental contracts and utilities.
Candidate Profile:
· University degree
· Fluent English, Russian language is a significant advantage but not necessary
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills, enjoying communication with external parties on daily basis
· At least 3 years experience in administration, fiduciary, corporate, immigration, legal, kyc/compliance role.
· Previous experience in corporate administration or a related professional services environment will be considered an advantage but is not essential.
· Attention to detail, strong excel skills (pivot tables, Vlookup, sumif functions), Adobe and photoshop
