Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of contracts, resolutions, power of attorneys, legal opinions and any other legal document related to department.
• Handling, monitoring and dealing with all aspects of corporate transactions.
• Ability to advise and issue opinions on corporate and commercial law as well as related fields of law and matters.
• Up to date with all the changes in the laws and regulations in several jurisdictions.
• Ensuring compliance with AML regulations.
• Coordinating and performing regulatory filings, procedures, and legal opinions.
• Evaluating and monitoring the compliance of our customers with all applicable regulatory and legislative provisions.
• AML/Risk Assessment by using our software.
• Providing advice and guidance to the employees of the firm regarding the AML regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

• University Degree in Law.
• LL.M (Master of Laws) will be considered an advantage. 
• Member of the Cyprus Bar Association.
• Three years of experience in a Law Firm in Corporate/Compliance matters.
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office.
• Fluent in English and Greek (both oral and written).
• Understanding of confidentiality rules and non-disclosure policies.
• Responsible, attentive to details, accurate, positive and supportive.
• Excellent communication skills and organizational skills.
• Ability to work and report under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines.
• Must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, ambitious and a team player.
