About our Client
Our client is a leading well-established group of companies, operating in Cyprus and abroad, in diversified sectors. They are seeking to hire a high-potential, talented finance executive who will be working closely with the Group CFO and other finance teams at group and subsidiary level.
Key Responsibilities
-The role offers a unique opportunity to grow into a top financial executive position and undertake responsibilities in a diverse and exciting landscape, including the below areas:
-Oversee core financial operations including accounting, preparation of accounts at group level, cash flow management, and budgeting
-On a regular basis, run a variance analysis with suggested course of action, and align forecasts, applying a deep understanding of the diversified operations of the group
-Provide support to finance teams at group and subsidiaries
-Support the preparation and possibly present financial results to the Board
-Monitor payments to suppliers, vendors etc., maintaining strong working relationships with them, and other business associates e.g. auditors and other professionals
-Work with the CFO to develop the finance strategy, and contribute to group strategy setting
-Support the overseeing of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Warehouse Management systems (WMS)
-Support the development of advanced reporting tools and dashboards to optimise data driven decision making in the group
-Be part of transformation strategic projects for the group, including digitalisation, optimisation of procedures, scalability, governance)
-Maintain strong working relationships with senior stakeholders and the Board
Desired profile
-At least 5 years solid post qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA) experience, with exposure in areas such as auditing of large and diversified groups / in a responsible position in a finance team
-Hands on, versatile, with a strong commercial and operations focus and drive
-Passionate in using technology, including experience with ERPs and / or WMS, advanced reporting tools
-Ability to communicate with impact across different ‘audiences’ e.g. senior stakeholders, key accounts and associates and build trust across the organization
-Strategic mindset with a forward-looking, growth-oriented approach
-Fluent in Greek and English
