Job Description

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an international manufacturer of machinery for the production of plastic bottles, we are seeking to recruit an Electrical Engineer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As an Electrical Engineer, you will primarily be responsible for reading, designing, and maintaining Electrical & Pneumatic drawings for machines prepared by the company on behalf of its clients, as well as carrying out the electrical wiring of machines, including fault diagnosis and troubleshooting. We are seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, who possess a solid understanding of electrical concepts and hardware selection. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, and working hours are from 08:00 – 17:00 from Monday to Friday.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Read, design, and maintain Electrical & Pneumatic drawings for machines prepared by the company for customers.
• Selection of Hardware relating to existing or new machines.
• Coordination with external vendors for selection and ordering of hardware relating to existing or new machines.
• Electrical wiring of machines, including fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation and training manuals
• Provide Technical support to customers for issues relating to electrical wiring or hardware.
• Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation and training manuals regarding machine safety.
• Preparation of processes for ensuring machine safety is maintained.
• Prepare and perform training sessions to teach other Teams internally.

 

Key Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
• Solid understanding of Electrical concepts and Hardware selection.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• High attention to detail.
• Willingness and a desire to learn how to programme PLCs and 6-Axis Robots in the future.
