Dromon Bureau of Shipping (www.dromon.com), an International Classification Society and an EU and UK accredited Verification body, is seeking the employment of an Environmental Officer to support its verification activities for EU MRV/ ETS, FuelEU, UK ETS, IMO DCS/CII, ISO14064-1 & 2 and CSI schemes.
Major Duties
The Environmental Officer shall have the following responsibilities:
- Support the verification team with organizing and executing verification operations, client liaison and correspondence, service agreement preparation, and reporting
Minimum Qualifications:
- University Degree in Shipping / Mechanical / Chemical / Environmental Engineering.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work under pressure.
- To be competent in English language commensurate with future work.
- Decision making, pragmatic approach.
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to adhere to deadlines.
- Computer literate.
Nice to have:
- Training or working experience with any of the following GHG Emissions Schemes: IMO DCS, CII, SEEMP, EU MRV, EU ETS, UK ETS, FUEL EU, Clean Shipping Index, ISO 14064-1, ISO 14064-2.
- Training or working experience with any ISO family standard (e.g. ISO 19001)
