The role:

As an Epic Expert, you will act as a telecommunications sales specialist within the retail environment of Stephanis shops, supporting, coaching and guiding store employees to maximize sales performance and ensure the successful promotion and activation of Epic products and services.

You will work closely with sales representatives on the shop floor, providing real-time support, product knowledge and coaching while ensuring that customer needs are properly identified and that contracts are accurately processed.

The role combines sales expertise, coaching, customer engagement, contract quality control and performance monitoring.

Your Responsibilities:

Sales Support & Coaching

• Provide continuous guidance, coaching and support to store employees on Epic products, services, sales techniques and commercial initiatives.
• Be present on the shop floor to support sales representatives with complex customer queries, sales opportunities and challenges that arise during the sales process.
• Coach employees to identify customer needs, recommend appropriate Epic solutions and apply effective sales techniques.
• Ensure that store employees are informed and confident regarding current products, offers, promotions and commercial initiatives.

Contract Quality & Process Control

• Verify that customer contracts are correctly entered and submitted in the relevant systems.
• Ensure that all required customer information and supporting documentation are complete and accurate.
• Monitor submitted contracts and follow up on pending or unsuccessful submissions, taking the necessary action to resolve issues.
• Identify recurring errors or process issues and communicate them to the Store Manager.
• Support the store team in maintaining high standards of contract accuracy, compliance and process adherence.

Customer Engagement

• Proactively approach customers in the store to understand their needs and identify relevant sales opportunities.
• Recommend suitable Epic telecommunications products and services based on customer requirements.
• Promote a professional, positive and customer-focused experience throughout the customer journey.
• Lead by example through effective customer engagement, professional conduct and a proactive sales approach.

Store Team Collaboration

• Work closely with the Store Manager and store employees to support the smooth operation and overall performance of the store.
• Assist with additional activities and responsibilities in line with business priorities and store requirements.
• Support the implementation of new products, services, systems, campaigns and commercial initiatives.
• Maintain effective communication with the Store Manager and relevant Epic teams regarding operational matters, commercial initiatives and challenges affecting store performance.

Performance Monitoring

• Monitor daily sales activity, contract performance and progress against key commercial KPIs.
• Identify gaps against sales targets and collaborate with the Store Manager and store team on appropriate corrective actions.
• Analyse sales performance trends and identify opportunities to improve results and sales effectiveness.
• Provide regular feedback to the Store Manager on performance, training needs and areas requiring improvement.
• Contribute to the continuous development of the store team by identifying opportunities for improvement in sales performance and product knowledge.

Your Profile:

Previous experience in telecommunications, retail sales, customer service or a similar commercial environment will be considered an advantage.
