Job Description

Responsibilities

• Operate Machinery: Safely operate and maintain various types of machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing process.
• Assembly and Production: Perform assembly, production, or packaging tasks as assigned, following specific instructions and quality guidelines.
• Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards, reporting any issues to supervisors.
• Material Handling: Move raw materials, components, and finished products within the factory using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Keep work areas and machinery clean and in good working condition. Perform routine maintenance tasks as required.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and report any safety hazards or incidents.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals and ensure a smooth workflow.
• Efficiency: Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines while minimizing waste and errors.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of production, materials used, and any issues encountered during the manufacturing process.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (in some cases, this may not be required).
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Knowledge of basic safety procedures and the ability to follow safety guidelines and protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain product quality.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate and troubleshoot machinery.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors.
• Flexibility in terms of working hours, as many factories operate on shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Good communication skills and the ability to report issues and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
