The Floor Supervisor will be responsible for supervising housekeeping operations on assigned floors, ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Room Attendants and Housekeeping staff on assigned floors.
• Allocate daily duties and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and according to hotel standards.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and other assigned areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Ensure rooms are properly prepared and ready for guest arrivals according to hotel procedures.
• Monitor the replenishment of guest amenities, linen, towels, and housekeeping supplies.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, and technical problems to the relevant department.
• Follow up on reported maintenance issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Assist with the training and onboarding of new housekeeping team members.
• Ensure that housekeeping procedures, health and safety standards, and hotel policies are consistently followed.
• Communicate effectively with the Housekeeping Manager, Front Office, and other hotel departments regarding room status and guest requirements.
• Handle guest requests and housekeeping-related concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Monitor the performance and appearance of housekeeping staff and provide feedback when required.
• Assist the Executive Housekeeper  with daily operations and other duties as required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory role, preferably within a hotel environment.
• Good knowledge of housekeeping procedures and hotel room standards.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to supervise, motivate, and coordinate a team effectively.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness and quality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays according to operational requirements.
• Good command of English. Knowledge of Greek and/or other languages will be considered an advantage.
