Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Selection of furniture, finishing materials (tiles, flooring, wallpapers), sanitary ware, lighting, and decorative elements for commercial and residential interior projects based on the design concept, client requirements, and project budget;
• Preparation of material schedules, commercial proposals, and cost estimates;
• Sending inquiries and requests to factories;
• Managing procurement processes and coordinating delivery timelines;
• Working within a CRM system.

Requirements:

• Experience in procurement/specification of finishing materials. It is important that you have knowledge of the Italian (European) market for furniture, sanitary ware, tiles, and lighting;
• Knowledge of European factory collections (lighting, tiles, sanitary ware, furniture) and current interior design trends;
• Confident PC user, with experience in Excel and CRM systems;
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
• Experience in a similar role of at least 2 years;
• Ability to read technical drawings and project documentation;
• Responsibility and reliability;
• Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and switch quickly between tasks;
• Education in design and basic knowledge of graphic software would be an advantage;
• Experience in furniture sourcing, procurement, or interior design — from 1 year;
• Knowledge of Italian furniture manufacturers and current design trends.
