Job Description

We are seeking to recruit a full-time Greek Teacher to join our growing team at The International School of Paphos.

Requirements

Inspire and challenge pupils to unlock their full potential

Promote the highest standards of teaching, learning and assessment

Create a lively, communicative atmosphere in class conducive to teaching and learning

Effectively plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the relevant schemes of work

Engage in oral and written dialogues with parents/guardians/careers to provide feedback about their child’s progress

Tactfully deal with behavioural issues in accordance with the school’s policies

Adhere to all school rules, procedures and practices, such as health and safety, data protection, equal opportunities, safeguarding, and pupils’ well-being

Promote the school in a positive light to the wider community

Keep up-to-date with current educational policies and practices

Undertake additional tasks, as assigned by the management of the school

Minimum qualifications

Undergraduate Degree in Greek Studies, which is recognised by The Cyprus Council of Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications (KY.S.A.T.S.)

Excellent command of the English language

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
