Job Description

Traders Trust, a leading provider of online trading services with over a decade of experience in the financial markets, specializing in CFD trading, is seeking a motivated Head of Accounting to join our team in Limassol. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Company’s accounting and financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, regulatory reporting, and the coordination of accounting activities across the Group.

Responsibilities:

• Book-keeping and maintenance of accounting records in the group's computerized accounting systems;
• Develop and lead relevant finance and accounting teams across the group;
• Preparation of management accounts for all group companies on a daily / monthly / quarterly and annual basis, including consolidated management accounts;
• Financial planning and control ,including preparations of the group company’s budget and financial forecasts;
• Record transactions in the accounting system either manually or handle the electronic uploading of transaction files;
• Do bank reconciliation;
• Prepare all necessary regulatory reports;
• Create additional analyses and reports as requested by management;
• Liaise with external accounting consultants on VAT, payroll, and other day-to-day matters, as well as with the external auditors as part of the annual and other periodic audits;
• Other accounting related functions as required by the group;
• Execution of any other task related to the duties of the position and requested by the Management;
• Full access to banks to make the monthly expenses payments;
• Reporting to management (Expenses & Revenue);

• Liaise with external and internal auditors.

   

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience, including experience in a managerial capacity.
• Previous experience within the brokerage and/or financial services industry will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent command of English and Greek, both written and verbal.
• Experience with accounting software (such as Intelisoft or other similar systems) and databases will be considered an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures and financial reporting.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office Packages), with proficiency in Excel.
• Holder of an ACA/ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification will be considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate accounting/finance activities.
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet reporting and regulatory deadlines.
