Responsible for ensuring that all activity meets both internal company standards and external regulatory requirements with respect to Health, Safety and the Environment to ensure Contractors’ obligations and policies in these areas are fully complied with
Elaboration of H&S Plans / Files
Health & Safety Management on construction sites
Be able to consult adequately the Clients in terms of H&S
Conduct risk assessments and monitor the implementation of the proposed preventative measures
Supervision and site inspections to check that policies and procedures are being properly implemented
Accidents / Incidents recording and investigation
Participation in safety meetings
Elaboration of safety method statements and task risk assessments
Training of personnel in H&S aspects
Prepare and present H&S reports for the senior management
Inspection of machinery, lifting equipment, scaffolds, etc. to ensure they meet safety regulations
Establishment and maintenance of an accurate H&S and training record
Skills & Qualifications:
University degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
Member of Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK)
Relevant experience in Health & Safety, at least 2 years
H&S certification (i.e. NEBOSH IGC) will be considered an advantage
Hands-on and possess good problem-solving skills and attend to detail
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent command of English and Greek language
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
