Hostess/Host – Aliathon Resort

Main Responsibilities

·       Welcome guests, creating a warm, professional, and friendly first impression.

·       Manage reservations efficiently, including coordinating of seating for guests and families.

·       Work closely with wait staff to optimize seating, service flow, and guest satisfaction.

·       Greet guests upon departure, ensuring a positive farewell experience.

·       Attend to guests who require extra attention, such as children, elderly, or guests with special requests.

·       Respond to guest inquiries, including assistance with allergies or dietary requirements.

·       Ensure the reception and waiting areas are presentable and welcoming at all times.

·       Follow health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Qualifications and Experience

·       2-3 years’ experience as a Host/Hostess, Front-of-House, Waiter/Waitress, or similar guest-facing role in a 4 or 5-star hotel or resort.

·       Experience in managing reservations and working with hotelier systems.

·       Familiarity with health and safety regulations.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and via phone.

·       Professional appearance, positive attitude, and guest-focused approach.

·       Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

·       Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

·       Availability to work shifts as required.

·       Excellent command of English, both verbal and written.
