Interior Designer
Job Description
Interior Designer
KK Group – Paphos, Cyprus
KK Group is looking for a creative, practical, and highly organized Interior Designer to support our growing portfolio of hospitality, rental, and real estate projects.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong design taste with hands-on execution. We are not only looking for someone who can create beautiful concepts, but someone who can help bring properties to life — from moodboards and renders to supplier sourcing, staging, installation, and final presentation.
The Interior Designer will work across serviced apartments, villas, hotel-style accommodation, rental properties, investment properties, and new development projects. The role supports both guest-facing hospitality spaces and property presentation for sales, rentals, launches, and handovers.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Concept Development
- Develop interior design concepts for apartments, villas, hospitality spaces, and communal areas.
- Create moodboards, material palettes, furniture selections, and styling directions.
- Prepare 2D layouts, furniture plans, and basic space planning recommendations.
- Produce or coordinate 3D renders and vizualisations where required.
- Ensure all projects align with KK Group’s aesthetic standards, guest expectations, and commercial objectives.
Styling & Property Presentation
- Support property staging for photography, launches, viewings, guest readiness, and handovers.
- Select furniture, lighting, soft furnishings, artwork, accessories, and decorative items.
- Help create spaces that feel premium, functional, durable, and commercially effective.
Procurement & Coordination
- Source furniture, materials, finishes, suppliers, and contractors locally and internationally.
- Liaise with procurement teams, suppliers, contractors, architects, developers, and internal departments.
- Request quotations, compare options, track costs, and support budget management.
- Coordinate deliveries, installations, styling days, and final setup.
Site Visits & Execution
- Visit properties to assess spaces, take measurements, review progress, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Help ensure projects are completed to presentation-ready standards.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- A degree, diploma, or strong portfolio in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, Styling, or a related field.
- Experience in residential, hospitality, serviced apartment, villa, hotel, or show-home interiors.
- Strong visual taste and an understanding of how interiors impact guest experience, property value, photography, and sales appeal.
- Ability to create moodboards, presentation decks, furniture schedules, and supplier shortlists.
- Experience producing or coordinating 3D renders and vizualisations.
- Good knowledge of furniture, lighting, materials, finishes, textiles, and decorative styling.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good communication and coordination skills when working with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.
- Practical problem-solving ability — someone who can make spaces look beautiful while remaining realistic, durable, and operationally effective.
- Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion, Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar.
- Ability to work on-site in Paphos and visit properties when required.
- Fluent English. Greek and/or Russian would be an advantage.
Nice to Have
- Experience with hospitality interiors or short-term rental properties.
- Experience staging properties for photography, sales, or guest arrivals.
- Knowledge of Cyprus-based suppliers, furniture stores, workshops, contractors, and service providers.
- Basic understanding of FF&E procurement.
- Experience working with developers, real estate teams, or property managers.
The Person We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone with strong design instincts, but also practical thinking and commercial awareness.
Someone who understands that a property should not only look beautiful, but also be durable, guest-friendly, easy to maintain, operationally practical, and aligned with the wider brand.
This person should feel comfortable moving between creative work and hands-on coordination — selecting the right sofa, sourcing suppliers, managing timelines, styling a room before photography, or helping ensure a property feels fully ready for launch.
