Position: Internal Audit Consultant   

 

Location: Nicosia

 

K. Treppides & Co Ltd, the Largest Independent Consultant Cyprus based International Firm is seeking to recruit an Internal Audit Consultant to join our expanding team of professionals, in our Internal Audit team of the International Compliance and Advisory Services (ICAS) department in Nicosia office.

 

What we are looking for:

 

Entry Requirements:

• BSc in Economics, Finance, Law, Risk Management, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field from a reputable university

• Fluency in Greek & English (written and spoken)

• Strong report writing skills

• IT literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel

• Enthusiastic and team-oriented mindset 

 

Special Considerations (to be considered as an advantage):

• MSc in a relevant field (e.g. Economics, Finance, Law etc.)

• CySEC Certifications such (i.e. Basic, Advanced or AML Examination)

• Up to 3 years of experience

 

Key Responsibilities:

• To undertake simple internal audits assignments including the planning, visit/review, drafting of results, preparation of work, which do not required technical knowledge and experience

• To assist in planning and carrying out of audits in relation to more advance / complicate areas.

• Communicate and provide consultancy support to Investment Firms and Financial Institutions

• Communicate with Regulatory Authorities

• Communicate with Compliance and Risk Management Departments
• Draft advices to clients’ internal audit related issues and regulatory reports
• Participate in the internal audit assignments of Financial Institutions

• To be able to reply to clients’ request in relation to internal audit issues
