Join our Information Technology department as an IT Technician, where you will provide technical support and help maintain the IT infrastructure across our hotel group.

In this role, you will support computer systems, networks, hotel management applications, telecommunications and end-user devices, ensuring reliable daily operations and an excellent guest experience. You will work closely with hotel departments to resolve technical issues promptly while maintaining system security and availability.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide first- and second-line technical support to employees across all hotel departments
· Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer, network and peripheral issues
· Install, configure and maintain computers, laptops, tablets, mobile devices and POS terminals
· Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 and standard business applications
· Monitor and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN and internet connectivity
· Configure and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls and wireless access points
· Support hotel systems, including PMS, POS, reservation systems, door-lock systems, IPTV and telephony
· Manage user accounts, access permissions, software updates and security patches
· Assist with system backups, disaster recovery procedures and endpoint security
· Maintain accurate inventories of IT equipment and software licences
· Coordinate equipment repairs, replacements and warranty claims
· Assist with technology projects, system upgrades and hotel openings
· Provide technical training and guidance to hotel employees when required
· Provide occasional after-hours or weekend support for critical systems
· Travel between hotel properties when required

 

Qualifications and Experience:

· Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
· Previous experience in a similar IT support role is preferred
· Experience with Windows, Microsoft 365 and computer networks
· Knowledge of Opera, Micros, Fidelio or similar hotel systems is an advantage
· Strong troubleshooting, communication and customer-service skills
· Reliable, organised and able to work independently and as part of a team
