We are looking for a creative and motivated professional with a strong background in authentic Italian cuisine, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional food and guest experiences.

Requirements:

·         Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a similar position.

·         Degree in Culinary Arts will be considered an advantage.

·         Excellent knowledge of the English language.

·         Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.

·         Strong leadership and team management skills.

·         Creative, organised and detail-oriented.

·         Strong knowledge of traditional Italian cuisine.

·         Experience with pasta, pizza, sauces, risotto, meat and seafood dishes.

·         Excellent food preparation and presentation skills.

·         High standards of hygiene and food safety.

·         Positive attitude and strong team spirit.

·         Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

·         Due to work permit restrictions, candidates must have the relevant documentation and legal right to work in Cyprus.

Duties:

·         Under the direction of the Executive Chef, oversee and lead the Italian Restaurant kitchen team.

·         Prepare and cook authentic Italian dishes to a consistently high standard.

·         Maintain and follow the recipes and quality standards established by the Executive Chef.

·         Follow recipes, portion controls and plating specifications.

·         Assist with menu development and contribute new Italian dishes and seasonal specials.

·         Maintain high standards of food quality, freshness and consistency.

·         Monitor food preparation and storage to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

·         Produce high-quality plates, both in presentation and taste.

·         Manage, train and support kitchen staff and monitor their performance.

·         Handle kitchen emergencies and troubleshoot operational issues when necessary.

·         Comply with and enforce all Health & Safety regulations and procedures.

·         Maintain a positive and professional approach when dealing with colleagues and customers.

·         Ensure kitchen equipment is used correctly and maintained in good working condition.

·         Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment at all times.
