Job Description
GRS Recruitment is searching for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our client's finance team in Limassol. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional looking to develop their career within a dynamic and fast-paced business environment. Please note that one of the company's key clients operates within the adult entertainment industry, specifically a webcam platform. Candidates should be comfortable working with and supporting clients in this sector. This is a fully office-based position located in Limassol and does not offer remote or hybrid working arrangements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities.
- Process and maintain accurate financial records and transactions.
- Assist with account reconciliations and month-end procedures.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Support the preparation of management reports and financial statements.
- Maintain accounting records in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Analyse financial data using Microsoft Excel.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist with ad hoc accounting and administrative duties as required.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar finance role.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including:
- Pivot Tables
- Charts and Reporting
- Data Analysis
- Advanced Spreadsheet Functions
- Experience with VAT submissions will be considered a strong advantage.
- Experience using SAP will be considered a strong advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
- LCCI Higher Certificate in Accounting or Finance, and/or
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
