Job Description
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an international Fiduciary & Family Office service provider with offices in Larnaca, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join their growing team. As a Junior Accountant, you will primarily be responsible for maintaining bookkeeping records, and processing daily accounting entries for client companies. You should be educated to degree level in a relevant field of study, and holders of the LCCI intermediate or higher certifications are encouraged to apply. Prior experience in a relevant position is desirable, but not essential, and full training will be provided. An attractive remuneration and benefits is offer, which includes a 13th salary, flexible working hours, ACCA sponsorship if applicable, Friday afternoon’s off, and the option to work remotely 1 day per week after the completion of the probationary period. This represents an outstanding opportunity for a junior-level finance professional to develop their skills and experience under the guidance and supervision of experienced accounting professionals.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain bookkeeping records and process daily accounting entries for client companies.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts and periodic client reporting.
- Support the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Liaise with international clients and external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax and accounting regulations.
Key Skills/Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- LCCI qualifications (at least Intermediate Level; Higher Level preferred).
- Prior experience is desirable, but not essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
