We are looking for a Junior Bookkeeper to join our team at our offices in Nicosia.
JOB SUMMARY
The Successful candidate will be supporting the accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth operation of day – to – day accounting activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate at the early stages of their accounting or finance career to join a structured and supportive Finance Department.
DUTIES:
- Process of overhead and vendor’s invoices as authorized by Management.
- Conduct month-end procedures for timely record of all expenses.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable entries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Send statements to clients, when needed.
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system and proper and consistent referencing both digital and physical.
- Perform accounting entries in the system as assigned.
- Processing of payments and manage various day to day accounting related tasks.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good understanding of bookkeeping principles and double entry accounting.
- Knowledge of accounting principles through studies, training or relevant qualifications.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Fluency in verbal and written Greek and English.
- Previous experience is not required. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
