As part of its drive to further enrich and expand its litigation department and build on its strong track record acting for high-profile local and international clients in complex disputes, Scordis, Papapetrou & Co LLC is looking to recruit a motivated and dedicated Junior Lawyer to join its litigation team in the Limassol office.
Duties and Responsibilities
Drafting of pleadings, applications, affidavits and other legal documents.
Conducting legal research and prepare reports and legal opinions.
Appearing before the courts.
Participating in the conduct of complex commercial and corporate litigation and multijurisdictional disputes.
Drafting written submissions for court hearings.
Providing advice to clients, with regard to all aspects of litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution generally.
Qualifications and other Requirements
Law degree (holding any further academic or vocational qualification in Law/Legal Practice will be considered an advantage).
Member of the Cyprus Bar Association with a practicing license.
Excellent command of Greek and English language both verbal and written
Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle a variety of complex issues simultaneously under strict deadlines and pressure
Ability to work in a team
Adherence to high professional standards and work ethics.
