Description:
We are seeking a Junior Doctor/ Biomedical Scientist to assist mainly with medical reports and lab support. The role includes typing and formatting medical reports dictated by a senior doctor, as well as assisting with laboratory tasks such as data entry, organizing slides, labeling cassettes, and participating in the macroscopic processing of specimens under supervision. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Main task is to assist with medical reporting of pathology specimens which requires good knowledge of medical terminology
• Transcribe, edit, and format medical reports accurately
• Support general laboratory workflow and administrative tasks
• Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of patient information
• Assist in macroscopic examination and processing of specimens, initially under guidance

Requirements:

• Relevant field of study
• Fluency in English & comfortable with medical terminology (required)
• Good typing speed and accuracy
• Strong attention to detail
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Basic computer skills (e.g. MS Word, data entry)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

• Interest or exposure to pathology/laboratory medicine
• Previous experience in medical transcription or clinical documentation
• Familiarity with laboratory procedures

Location: Strovolos
Working Hours: Full time: 9:00–17:00, with the option for occasional 08:30–16:30 or 10:00–18:00 and Part time hours can be accommodated as well. 
Start Date: May – June (flexible with graduation schedule)
