On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Junior Payments Operations Officer.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Monitor payment systems and solutions daily, identifying transaction declines, errors, and performance issues.
Handle payment-related requests, and operational incidents, coordinating with relevant internal teams.
Create, track, and follow up on tickets to ensure timely resolution of payment and system issues.
Communicate with Payment Service Providers (PSPs) regarding accounts, access, technical issues, and performance.
Coordinate with other teams on new payment integrations, testing, troubleshooting, and launches.
Support the setup, testing, and rollout of new payment methods and providers.
Act as a coordination point between other departments and external providers.
Maintain payment status trackers and provide regular updates on integrations, issues, and operational performance.
Requirements:
1 year of experience in payments operations, fintech, banking, or a similar operational role.
Basic understanding of payment processing, PSPs, payment methods, and transaction flows.
Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and tickets simultaneously.
Excellent English communication skills.
Familiarity with tools such as Slack, Jira, Monday.com, or similar platforms is a plus.
