To support our Crew HR department in our ambitious plans for the future, we are expanding our team.

  • Coordinate with Crew HR, Crew Planning, Finance and external payroll providers to clarify missing or inconsistent payroll information.
  • Prepare payroll reports, payment information and supporting schedules for review and approval.
  • Reconcile payroll results against the source data and investigate any differences or unusual movements.
  • Assist with payroll-related statutory requirements by ensuring that the necessary data and documentation are complete and provided to the relevant payroll providers.
  • Respond to crew payroll enquiries professionally and confidentially, including questions relating to payslips, deductions, allowances and reimbursements.
  • Escalate complex payroll matters or discrepancies to the responsible Senior Payroll Officer in a timely manner.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing the required payroll reports and supporting documentation.
  • Follow established payroll controls, procedures and checklists, and contribute to improvements in payroll processes and data quality.

What you will learn

  • International crew payroll processes across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Payroll systems, data validation, reconciliations and reporting.
  • Payroll compliance requirements and cooperation with external payroll providers.
  • Collaboration between Payroll, Crew HR, Finance and operational departments.

Your profile

  • Initial experience in payroll, accounting, finance, HR administration or shipping administration is preferred.

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Shipping or a related field is an advantage.

  • Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.

  • Very good organisational skills and the ability to meet strict monthly deadlines.

  • An analytical and solution-focused approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies.

  • Confidence using Microsoft Excel and other digital systems.

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information with discretion.

  • A collaborative and proactive working style, combined with the ability to work independently.

  • Fluent written and spoken English; German is an advantage.

  • Full training on the role and the opportunity to grow within the wider HR and Crewing function.
  • Company-paid medical insurance.
  • 21 days of annual leave, increasing by one day per completed year of service up to 25 days.
  • Possibility to work from home following the successful completion of the probation period, subject to operational requirements.
