Junior Reporting Analyst
Job Description
Flintera is a private equity firm working closely with a portfolio of international companies across multiple industries. We are looking for Junior Reporting Analyst who will develop, automate, and maintain financial reports, ensuring accuracy in multi-jurisdictional data. This role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency by replacing manual data processes with scalable, automated solutions and providing stakeholders with high-accuracy, real-time insights.
Main duties and responsibilities:
-Identify ways to automate monthly/quarterly financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to increase team efficiency and reduce human error.
-Extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources including APIs and bank statements; perform reconciliations and anomaly detection.
-Collaborate with Accounting, Treasury, IT and database administrators to improve data collection processes and system integrations.
-Develop and maintain recurring daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for various departments.
-Design and update interactive dashboards using visualization tools.
-Analyze historical performance data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for operational improvement.
-Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all reporting workflows to ensure continuity.
Required Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Analytics or related fields.
-1-3 years in financial reporting or analytics, with hands-on automation experience.
-Knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets, including advanced formulas, Pivot Tables
-Knowledge of Power Bi will be considered an advantage.
-Ability to visualize how different platforms and data points interact within a larger ecosystem.
-Capability to present technical data findings in a clear, concise manner to stakeholders.
-Strong verbal/written communication, time management, and a high degree of intellectual curiosity.
