CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established Retail Outlet, dedicated to providing candle-makers with top-quality wax and candle-making supplies, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Social Media Manager to join their growing team based in Kaimakli, Nicosia. As a Junior Social Media Manager, you will collaborate closely with the in-house Creative Director, and will capture live content daily turning fresh, original ideas into engaging campaigns. A junior-level position, you will ideally have some prior experience in a similar digital marketing or content creation position, although recent graduates with relevant academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply. This is the perfect environment for a motivated junior professional to learn, grow, and make a real impact.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Daily on-site presence at our shop and warehouse to capture raw footage, photos, and behind-the-scenes content.
• Create, curate, and manage all published content across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
• Create and manage social media marketing campaigns, promotions, and paid social ads, ensuring they align with the company's overall commercial goals.
• Create and oversee essential digital designs (e.g., social media graphics, website banners, video thumbnails, ad layouts, and blog visuals).
• Design, write, and manage engaging email marketing campaigns for our subscriber base.
• Develop and expand community engagement and spearhead local influencer outreach efforts.
• Monitor and analyse key social media metrics, tweaking execution tactics as needed to optimize performance.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field would be considered an advantage.
• Previous experience in a similar digital marketing or content creation position will be considered an advantage, although Recent Graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Ability to edit and produce engaging, high-quality short-form video content tailored for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube (using software like CapCut, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
• A good sense for aesthetics, with the ability to capture clean photos, lighting, and vibrant colour schemes that align with our brand identity.
• Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Illustrator and Photoshop). Experience utilizing AI software for video and image generation is highly valued.
• Understanding of current algorithms, trends and best practices for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English.
