CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an ACCA approved employer providing Audit & Accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Tax Officer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will manage tax compliance and reporting for local and international clients, as well as prepare, review, and submit tax forms. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Accounting & Finance, Economics, or a related field, who posses 0-2+ years of experience in taxation. Holders of, or those working towards the ACCA, ACA, and/or ADIT qualification are encouraged to apply, and strong knowledge of Cyprus tax laws and regulations is highly desirable. Fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English is a must. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Manage tax compliance and reporting for local and international clients.
• Prepare, review, and submit tax forms (IR1, IR4, IR6, IR7).
• Advise clients on tax planning, VAT, and regulatory matters.
• Liaise with tax authorities and support audits.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

• University Degree in Accounting & Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 0-2+ years of experience in taxation.
• ACCA, ACA, ADIT, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong knowledge of Cyprus tax laws and regulations.
• Fluent in Greek and English.
• Analytical, proactive, and client focused.
