REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

·         Degree or diploma in Chemistry  

·         1-year practical experience in relevant fields considered an advantage.

·         Experience of working in continuous improvement environment.

·         Fluency in Greek and English, written & verbal.

·         Computer literate in Microsoft Office programs (MS word, excel, Outlook etc.).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Implements and enforces the applicable good laboratory practices described in reference documents.

·         Ensuring laboratory compliance with ISO 17025 requirements.

·         Assisting the Laboratory Manager to meet the testing schedule.

·         Supporting operations regarding maintenance, allocation, and procurement of test equipment and lab supplies.

·         Preparing facilities, fixtures and documentation for testing.

·         Monitoring test performance.

·         Providing support and consultation.

·         Collects samples for lab tests.

·         Receives samples.

·         Visually checks samples.

·         Labels samples.

·         Checks sample documents.

·         Completes appropriate documents regarding samples.

·         Adhering to established rules for protection of confidentiality in releases to third parties.

·         Responds to any duties as assigned by the management of the Laboratory; Carries out lab tests and completes lab report.
