LABORATORY SCIENTIFIC OFFICER

We are looking for a full-time Laboratory Scientific Officer to join the Neurogenetics Department of the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics.  

The position’s starting date is on 3rd November 2025 and it is for a period of 24 months.

JOB SUMMARY 

The successful candidate will work on an European research project entitled SHIELD. Specifically, she/he will carry out laboratory scientific work in the field of genomics and high throughput targeted genetic analyses.

REQUIREMENTS

• A BSc degree in any Biological Science, Chemistry or closely related field 
• Excellent command of the Greek and/or Turkish and English languages

The following will be considered as advantage:

• Previous experience in next-generation sequencing research.
