ASSOCIATE LAWYER
Corporate, Immigration & Real Estate
KECC LAW is seeking to recruit a motivated and commercially minded Associate Lawyer to join its legal team in Nicosia.
The successful candidate will handle a broad range of legal matters, with particular focus on corporate and commercial law, immigration and residency, and real estate transactions.
The role requires a professional who can take ownership of matters, communicate confidently with clients and relevant authorities, and manage legal files efficiently from initial instruction through to completion.
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:
* Handling immigration, residency and related applications before the relevant authorities
* Advising on corporate and commercial matters
* Assisting with company incorporations, corporate restructurings and ongoing corporate legal matters
* Handling real estate acquisitions, disposals and other property-related transactions
* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, contracts and other legal documentation
* Conducting legal research and providing practical legal advice to clients
* Liaising with clients, governmental authorities, the Registrar of Companies, banks and other professional advisers
* Preparing applications, resolutions, corporate documents and supporting legal documentation
* Monitoring statutory requirements, deadlines and ongoing client obligations
* Maintaining accurate and well-organised legal files and records
* Managing assigned matters independently and ensuring their timely and professional completion
Candidate Profile - The ideal candidate should have:
* A recognised degree in Law
* Admission to the Cyprus Bar Association and a valid practising licence
* Relevant professional experience in corporate, immigration and/or real estate law
* Sound knowledge of Cyprus legal and regulatory procedures relevant to the role
* Excellent command of both Greek and English, written and spoken (Arabic will considered Plus)
* Strong legal drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to prioritise and manage multiple matters and deadlines simultaneously
* Confidence in communicating with clients, authorities and other professionals
* Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team
* High standards of professionalism, discretion, integrity and client service
