Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and responsible Messenger to support daily delivery operations, office tasks, and warehouse-related activities. The successful candidate will ensure timely deliveries, maintain accurate records, assist with purchasing and provide general support as required by the Warehouse Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver packages, documents, mail, written and verbal messages, and other items safely and on time to the specified location or recipient.
• Plan and organize the most efficient and fastest delivery routes.
• Obtain required signatures and/or payments upon delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of receipts and deliveries, including tracking delivery times and locations.
• Unload items from large trucks and load them into smaller vehicles for delivery.
• Coordinate routine maintenance of delivery vehicles.
• Purchase required materials from local suppliers.
• Perform additional duties related to the position as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

Requirements

Must Have

• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong understanding of routes and directions.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Basic customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Ability to ensure the security and protection of packages, documents, and other delivered items.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to drive for prolonged periods.
• Ability to work and make deliveries in all weather conditions.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 20 kg.

Nice to Have

• Previous work experience in a similar role will be considered an advantage.
