The Island Private School is a fast-growing, innovative international school in the thriving city of Limassol committed to excellence, inclusion, and holistic education. We opened for the first 500 students in September 2022, and we are growing! We are now seeking competent, experienced and, above all, passionate Music Academy Teachers to join our thriving, multicultural international school community.

We are also in the process of building our brand-new, world-class school campus on a beautiful 50,000 m² site scheduled for completion by approximately the end of 2027. This mega-campus will feature a kindergarten, elementary school, high school, an international boarding school, and dedicated on-site teacher accommodations. What will you do?

We are the Island Private School of Limassol in Cyprus are seeking a passionate and experienced Music Teacher

We are also in the process of building our new school campus on a beautiful 50,000 m2 site which is to be completed approximately by the end of 2027 and will include kindergarten, elementary and high school, an international boarding school, and accommodation for teachers. This is a great opportunity to join a growing school on the cusp of a major growth and transformation in our story.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional instruction through individual and group music lessons tailored to students of varying skill levels.
• Design custom lesson plans that address and nurture individual student development goals, needs, and talents.
• Empower student growth by fully preparing them for upcoming recitals, public performances, formal examinations, and competitive events.
• Foster a collaborative culture by partnering with fellow academy faculty members for ensemble coaching and joint school performances.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

•  Instrumental Mastery: Complete technical proficiency and strong performance skills in your specialized instrument(s).
• Teaching Experience: Previous experience teaching young people is preferred; background in a private school setting is a major plus.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and cross-cultural communication abilities.
• Educational Passion: A deep-seated commitment to holistic music education, student safeguarding, and promoting child welfare.

Bonus Skills/Experience

•       IB teaching experience but not mandatory
•      Other languages like Russian, Ukrainian or Hebrew
•      Private School Teaching experience

Working Conditions

Monday to Friday, generally from 14:00 to 17:30 (on an as-required basis).
