Chrisons Technologies is seeking a Network and Telephony Engineer to join its Networking team. The role is responsible for implementing, supporting and maintaining customer networking, network-security, Microsoft Azure networking, telephony and unified-communications solutions across on-premises, cloud and hybrid environments.
The successful candidate will manage escalated and direct customer support requests, deliver technical work remotely and on site, maintain accurate documentation and contribute to the continuous improvement and automation of team operations.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and manage escalated requests from the helpdesk team.
Respond to customer support requests received through the ticketing system, email or telephone.
Diagnose and resolve incidents remotely or on site, collaborating with other technical teams when escalation or specialist input is required.
Design, install, configure and support firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points and related network-security solutions.
Maintain and support networking solutions deployed at customer environments.
Design, configure and support Azure networking services, including virtual networks, subnets, network security groups, route tables, VPN gateways, private endpoints and hybrid connectivity.
Monitor and troubleshoot connectivity, routing, security and performance across on-premises, cloud and hybrid network environments.
Install, configure and support PBXs, session border controllers and other communications solutions.
Maintain and support customer telephony and unified-communications platforms.
Prepare and maintain accurate technical, configuration and support documentation.
Develop, improve and document internal technical standards and best practices.
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate technical operations.
Undertake other reasonable duties relevant to the role.

Network and telephony solutions are implemented securely, documented clearly and handed over effectively.
Customer systems remain stable, supportable and aligned with approved technical standards.

Essential Qualifications and Knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
Strong knowledge of networking concepts, technologies and protocols.
Strong knowledge of network-security principles and practices.
Good knowledge of SIP, IP telephony and PBX technologies.
Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
Desirable Knowledge and Experience
Experience with Fortinet products and solutions.
Experience with 3CX.
Experience with Microsoft Teams Phone.
Azure networking
Experience
A minimum of two to three years’ experience in a similar networking, network-security or telephony position.

Remuneration and Benefits
Probation Period: 6 Months
Salary: €2,300-3,000 Gross per month
Bonus: Yearly bonus based on individual and company.
Working Hours: 08:30 - 13:00 and 14:00 to 17:30.
Public Holidays: Official Cyprus Public Holidays.
Annual Leave: 21 days.
Sick Leave: 12 days.
Overtime: This is paid when employees are requested and have approval to work for more than 30mins over their normal working hours, at a rate of 1.5 their hourly rate for Out of Hours and Saturdays, and at a rate of 2 for Sundays and Public Holidays. Overtime is extremely rare.
Other Benefits: Medical and / or Provident fund will be provided after the probation period at a combined benefit of 3% of employee salary.
Medical Insurance: In-Hospital Medical Insurance, which also includes a one-time per year Health Check. Medical Insurance will be provided if accepted and with the terms and conditions offered by the insurance company. Family members can be insured as well at our reduced company rate, payable by the employee.
