Job Description

The Operations Manager (Supply Chain In-House Team) plays a key role in ensuring that all customer and supplier orders are handled smoothly, from order creation to delivery. You will coordinate with internal teams, and customers worldwide to make sure products are delivered on time, data and documents are accurate, and processes run efficiently. Acting as the central link within our Supply Chain organization, you’ll help keep our operations reliable, organized, and transparent.

 

The successful candidate will begin with an initial training attachment of at least six months in Hamburg, Germany, before continuing the role on site in our Nicosia, Cyprus operations.

 

A challenging task

  • Take responsibility for the end-to-end handling of customer and supplier orders, from order entry to final delivery.

  • Create and manage purchase and sales orders in our ERP system and maintain all related documents in our digital file system

  • Ensure all order information is accurate and updated, communicating any changes (e.g. delivery date, quantity, product details) clearly to all parties.

  • Act as a main point of contact for customers, providing fast and reliable support on delivery schedules, order adjustments, and documentation.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth communication and timely resolution of operational topics.

  • Prepare and provide shipping and delivery documents, ensuring customers and internal teams have everything needed for invoicing and deliveries.

  • Share regular order updates and forecasts with customers and proactively follow up on open orders or future needs.

  • Support process improvements and data quality initiatives to strengthen our operational performance and efficiency.

  • Assist in product launches and data maintenance, ensuring all product and order information is correctly managed in our systems.

  • Keep digital systems and records organized and compliant, ensuring traceability and accuracy at all times.

  • Work in a fast-paced, international environment, balancing multiple priorities while staying organized, collaborative, and solution-oriented.

A convincing Background

  • Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management, ideally in an international environment.

  • Strong coordination, organizational, and multitasking skills with a structured, hands-on working style.

  • Excellent team player with strong social and communication skills, able to build positive relationships across departments and cultures.

  • Able to work under pressure and keep your composure and your sense of humour

  • Strong digital and system literacy (ERP, AI, Excel, Power BI).

  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to stay calm, solution-oriented, and proactive, even in busy times.

  • Business-fluent English (written and spoken)

  • German language will be considered an advantage.
