Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Technical Consultant specializing in Oracle Database technologies to join our Team and lead the delivery and implementation of advanced Oracle-based solutions.

This role involves consulting, design, implementation, and support across Oracle Database, Middleware, Infrastructure, and Cloud (OCI) environments.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Delivering consulting and implementation services for Oracle-based solutions, covering infrastructure, database, middleware, and cloud (OCI) platforms.
• Designing, implementing, and supporting Oracle Database Enterprise Edition and advanced options including Active Data Guard, RAC, Partitioning, Advanced Security, Database Vault, Audit Vault & Firewall, Data Masking, Data Safe, Multitenant, and In-Memory.
• Executing end-to-end implementation projects, including installation, configuration, upgrades, migrations, performance tuning, HA/DR, and backup strategies.
• Designing, deploying, and managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Autonomous Database environments.
• Participating in cloud engagement strategies and driving adoption of Oracle’s cloud offerings.
• Supporting clients with hybrid and full-cloud transition strategies, from blueprinting to implementation.
• Working closely with enterprise (Banking, Telecom, Government, Shipping), public, semi-governmental clients to deliver tailored Oracle solutions.
• Conducting pilot projects, POCs, demos, test drives, and technical presentations as part of presales activities.
• Providing advisory and consulting services to support long-term transformation initiatives and outsourcing projects.
• Defining and introducing new Oracle-based services, support agreements, and bulk outsourcing service models.
• Driving packaging of Oracle Cloud offerings – solution definition, qualification, scoping, and technical road-mapping.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree in a relevant area is considered an advantage.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of hands-on experience as a Technical Architect or Consultant in Oracle-based projects.
• Proven experience with Oracle Database Enterprise Edition and advanced features (e.g., RAC, Active Data Guard, Advanced Security, Data Masking).
• Solid experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Exposure to Oracle Engineered Systems such as Exadata and ODA is considered a plus.
• Experience in client-facing consulting, project leadership, and presales is required.
• Relevant Oracle certifications (e.g., OCI Architect, Oracle Cloud Database Specialist) are advantageous.
• Fluency in Greek and English – both spoken and written – is required.

Remuneration
